This was taken on a day that I was scouting for exterior shooting locations at Strathmore. I was walking around the grounds with my D1x shooting from various vantage points.
Strathmore had just acquired this bronze sculpture, and they wanted new photographs of the building and grounds incorporating it in the images. In this shot, I decided to photograph the sculpture by itself (brilliant thinking on my part :-). The clouds, and the fall colors help to soften the overall look.
